| "The Swinging Beginning" contains songs for beginning trumpet, flugelhorn or clarinet students. It can be used in lessons, or at home, and also when performing. On the accompanying CD (included with this book) you will find the melody of each tune, which will allow you to play all of the songs even if you cannot read music very well. You can play these same melodies to the accompaniment of the band on the CD, or you can create your own solo! You can also play the tunes with a guitarist, pianist or keyboard players. A separate sheet showing their chords is provided. We recommend this awesome book for a player with one or two years of playing experience, that wants to branch out into swing/jazz with some improvisation work. This is a quality book, and we recommend it highly. Each song is included on the CD two times. The first time is just the melody so you can hear what it sounds like and the second time is an accompaniment track in full band format. By clicking on "Newsletter", you will be given the opportunity to sign up for one of our newsletters relating to the product line and/or instrument that you choose. Browsing: Along the left hand side of each page on this website, you will find a list of categories to browse. When you select one of these categories, you will be taken to a page that contains a list of items within that category. By clicking on the name of a product, you will be given all of the information specific to that item. You will also be given the option of adding that item to your shopping cart. Shopping: We recommend shopping online, although you can also order by phone, fax or mail if you prefer. To shop online, first add the items you want to your shopping cart. When you have finished adding items to your cart, click on the "Checkout Now" button. You will be asked for shipping information, given a list of shipping options, and asked for payment information. After you have submitted this information, your order will be securely routed to our warehouse where it will be filled.
